'Persons Unknown' - 'Smoke and Steel' Recap Filed under: Recaps, Summer TV  (S01E07) Oooooooooo, now this conspiracy is a lot bigger than we thought. We're talking 'X-Files' territory here.I think we all guessed that it was some sort of secret experiment/test/plan/whatever, but I don't think we could have guessed that it has been going on for 50 years. So our kidnappees aren't just stuck in a small town for ransom, or because they were chosen at random for an experiment, they were chosen because each one of them could have great influence in the world. Again: Oooooooooooooooooo.
